Then add more lemon juice or hot coffee (whichever is handier) until
it thins down to the right consistency. The henna keeps absorbing
liquid for a long time (and it seems to vary from henna batch to
batch). This tendency gets really annoying if you put the paste in a
cone right after mixing, do a few designs, put the cone in the fridge,
only to find that the paste has later turned into fudge. (done that a
few times...but not anymore...)
