Liquid Latex

Just curious if anyone had this experience with liquid latex: I put it
on with a makeup sponge. Gently blotting it on. It was white in
color and as it dried it became clear. Then when it was almost
completley clear and dry, it started to form little bubbles under it
that went white again. It was like my skin was trying to breath. I'm
sure it was sweating under there too. So I took it off. Is that how
it normally works? It just didn't seem right. People on this forum
seem to like the liquid latex. Maybe I did something wrong. I think
I'll stick with the packing tape.
