I have had bad luck. I live in sunny southern California, but
conditions are still not warm enough.
Last year I got 4 plants -in no time they had scale and died. So
this year I ordered 4 more. Well one from last year came back from
the dead and started doing well, but it got this kind of milky,
sticky white stuff on it and has dies (I'm not throwing it out---just
in case). Of the 4 new plants, as soon as I planted them at work
(warmer there) 3 of them died :( One is sitting on the window cill
doing okay, but it is young and weak. I water it at least once a week.
But I am not going to give up!! If I have to I will order another 4
next year!! Maybe I can keep two going....
