Henna is a semi-permanent color. That means it bonds to the shaft of
your hair and then gradually wears off...but if your hair is naturally
porous, then it absorbs right in and never comes out.

Unfortunately, there is no way to "remove" henna once it's happily
attached to your hair -- just have to wait for it to grow out. BUT
you can use a darker henna mix to try and calm down the redness.
Bleach and other lighteners are definitely out -- they will turn your
hair interested technicolor shades in the green family.
