: Hi,
: I justed with Henna, and unfortunetly their is anyone where I live
to
: answer the question I have. I hope maybe you can help me out.
: 1)What is the Henna ( after mixed ) supposed to feel and look like?

A: Its supposed to be dark green to almost black. It feels like
toothpaste to me.

: 2)I appied the Henna mix and it is drying and cracking, Is it
suppose
: to do this?( I applied lemon and sugar water solution to it)

A: Its going to dry and crack to some degree no matter what you do.
It will crack less if you keep re-applying the lemon/sugar mix often
until you build up a glaze.

: 3)How do I get it darker?

A: Use top quality henna, sift it till its as fine as flour, use
lemon or lime juice in your henna mix, and keep the mix and the newly
applied henna warm!

: 4)I am using a bottle applicator with a very fine tip, it doesnt
come
: out very good or it curles when it comes out, Seen Like their isnt
no
: control their.

A: again, you need to sift, sift sift! When i first started using
henna, i thought i was sifting fine, until i started using pantyhose
to sift the powder by shaking and thumping inside a dairyqueen
container. The older powder i had thought i had sifted just fine
revealed lots of minute twigs etc.

Good luck with your henna!
Kara
