I did my usual. Mixed it up. Put it in the ever so handy zip-lock
baggie. Left it over night. The next morning squeezed it into the
bigger bottle, fit the screen on the inside of the cap.(it was a
perfect fit) then squeezed it all into the applicator bottles. I
don't know the gauge of the screen. I've thrown away the packaging.
But the hardware store that I went to only had two sizes if you eye
them you can tell which in smaller and which is bigger. Next time I
go to the store I'll find out which is which and let you know. My
sifter is still great I never get a clog with that either, it's just
with this new way, it shaves of an extra 15 mins of shaking. I made my
own sifter with to empty peanut butter jars (plastic)and cut circles
out of both lids about an 1/8 of an inch from the edge. Put the nylon
across the top of one then secured the nylon with tape, then taped
both lids together (top to top, the threading sides facing out) with
packing tape I add 3 glass marbles to the one side, fill that side
with the unsifted henna, screw that into one end and screw the empty
one into the other now shake shake shake. The marbles give just enough
weight to really speed things up. Hope I explained that well enough
that you all can understand the mechanics of it. I really works
great.
