'Fraid so.

Hitting, for example, the link to my own gallery (Henna Album #1)
using IE 4.01SP1, I get:

Method Not Allowed
The requested method POST is not allowed for the URL
/~jr/henna/what/pics2/index.html.

Apache/1.3.4 Server at www.bioch.ox.ac.uk Port 80

If you really want to use buttons instead of ordinary links, try
switching the forms to GET instead of POST. It seems to me that at
least some combinations of web browser and/or web server don't like
POST data being sent to pages not configured to receive it. Since GET
just puts a "?" on the URL, it doesn't have the same impact.

Having checked the source of your page to see the actual links, I
have to admit you've got a good list, but why not use the full titles
of each page instead of your own abbreviations? I wouldn't have
guessed that "Henna Album #2" was a pointer to The Henna Page, for
example.
