In side -by-side tests, it doesn't really.....though other factors may
affect the color.
I use coffee because it's convenient. The only coffee that really
makes a difference are the Turkish and Arab coffees that clove and
spices in them. It's just nice to have something convenient to
fine-tune your henna consistancy (since the vegetable matter tends to
"poof" up a bit and get thicker overnight) and morning coffee is sort
of sitting there, and available, and less hassle than squeezing more
lemon. If you want to brew something fancy complex, and fragrant to
tweek up your henna...kewhl....it's fun and it smells nice...but
there's really not much you can do beyond geting the very best (not
necessarilly the most expensive) henna you can find.
