Halllooo Dee!
I make great transfers with plain old tracing paper and a soft
charcoal pencil from the art store. Just trace over whatever design you
want on your bod with the charcoal, then put the paper down on your
skin 'coal side down and lightly but firmly rub over it being careful
not to move the paper. Lift it straight up and Presto! Just henna right
over the pencil line. This also allows you to see how the finished
mehndi will look and give you a chance to move it or otherwise change
it if you aren't happy with it before you have to wear it for a couple
of weeks!
With regards to putting a design on your right hand, I hear tell
you can put a design of wet mud down on paper (something semi-absorbant
I understand is the way to go, like TP or paper towel), wait till it is
almost dry (so it is not too smooshy) and then tape it in place for a
few hours. I have never tried this personaly although it sounds like it
should work. Anyone out there tried this, and were you happy with it?
Good luck Dee! Keep experimenting!
Miss Monica
