Extracts are usually made by crushing up nut parts, boiling them in a
solvent and distilling the oils and such that come out of the
reaction. The powder is just crushed up hulls. Neither one of them
really does anything to the henna reaction, and they don't work alone
either. On top of all that they are a dangerous allergen that should
not be used unless you are absolutely certain you are not allergic to
walnuts.

I wonder who is telling people to try this??
