Eyeliner

I've been really bored, because I can't do any henna until september
(I'm going over my grandmother's house in late august, and she really
hates mehndi, I don't know why) so last night I took some eyeliner
and drew out some of then designs I want to do, and it really helped
me. I saw that I would have made a big mistake with one of the
designs, and now I know what to do.
I was wondering if I could henna over the eyeliner? Would that keep
the henna from staining?
