In my quest for all knowledge mehndi, I read exhaustively through the archives of this forum. I found some incredibly great ideas! I'm trying to perfect my wrapping techniques, especially, since I want something durable that customers can live with. I can't remember who posted it, but I read somewhere in this forum that first aid tape worked really well. I bought a roll of the paper kind, and combined it with New Skin last night, because I also wanted to try CCJ's reccomendation of cocoa butter to dislodge the stubborn stuff. It all worked like a charm! The wrap didn't move an iota throughout the night, and peeled off most of the New Skin with it. My fine details are still fine, and whatever New Skin was left around the edges just came off with some fingernail coaxing after I soaked it in cocoa butter for a bit. Thinking, though, about customers who don't want New Skin used on them, I'm sure that liquid latex would work just as well with the paper tape over it.
