I need your opinion!

I am planning a week long trip this fall or winter (with the money
I've made from doing Henna), and I will be going to Morocco, Egypt or
India.

This will be a buying trip to establish contacts for buying fresh
henna!

The questions I have:
1. Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with henna from these
locales?
2. Is henna regionally better from any of these places? From this I
mean, different climates produce different potentcy, right?
3. Does anyone KNOW anyone from any of these places that could get me
started?

If I find "the good stuff" I will be buying LOTS. Here's the deal- I
will trade it out for either designs or well researched documentation
of henna pre-1600 a.d.

I'm working on an entry in a contest where the art you are presenting
must be medievally period. References to technique, design, recipe,
cultural significance, etc. are what I'm looking for.

Any help at all with the travelling part will be greatly appreciated!
