: I : thinks it's mostly from 'registering' to use web sites. I don't do : that anymore. Hmmm...I don't remember doing this from my home e-mail. I have heard of a website that helps you get off mailing lists, though, and am trying to make time (maybe next time I'm waiting for the mud to dry) to make use of it. : Italian macchia is both a noun and a verb and means both stain and : bush (as in the henna bush). Thank you for this important clarification! ;-) I'm glad your business is blossoming. I'm not that far in the 12 steps -- I think I'm just about ready to start henna-ing complete strangers. Done friends, relatives and endless self-experiments. I really like the social intimacy, so similar to "doing" each others' hair as a teen (I missed most of that), but also it's quite collaborative in nature. I mean, choosing a design and making the decisions on how to vary it or enhance it, is it big enough, what shall we do with this goof - try to erase or take it somewhere new, that sort of thing. Very satisfying, even when the design doesn't turn out as initially imagined. : It would have been cool if your name was really Anon, though. :) Yeah - pity. There are other jokes to be made, though - mostly requiring some familiarity with midieval use of English. Speaking of which, has anyone used Racinet's Historic Ornament or The Grammar of Ornament (both books with many color plates of all sorts of design from many cultures) as inspiration? There are so many different styles, it seems like it would be easy to find some general style to fit almost any personality.
