I would say that there would be no chemical reaction. I assume that
you want to use the wax to keep the henna sealed, and at first
instinct it seems like not a bad idea. But then what about the
"ouch!" in removing the wax if you have any hair on the hennaed area,
as well as the danger of burning yourself if you are not used to
working with hot wax? This could produce bigger problems if you
wanted to put it on a place like your upper arm or somewhere at which
people do not normally shave hair. You can try it and see how it
works. Perhaps let the wax cool a little before using it. I do like
it when candle wax drips and dries on my fingers!
