Ah, so that's what I did wrong! My henna turned out very grainy this
time...and I used hot "tea" straight from teh microwave...I'll have to
remember to let it cool next time.

Also, I met up with some Persian students who asked if I use yeast in
my mix. Never heard of using yeast in the mix...anyone else? She
said she didn't use any sugar or honey -- just henna, lemon juice,
tea, and yeast...and that it was very thick but definitely not
bubbly(the way yeast would be if it was chowing down)...it was the way
her mother taught her in IRan.
