Oh, also, in my original message I said I was using my finger to re-wet w/ the oil. Now I'm using a small watercolor brush and just painting the oil onto the paste. This goes a lot faster and seems to waste less oil.
If you can't find white flower, other oils will probably work. I tried some tea tree oil just to see, and it did work but wasn't as dark (i think it's because the tea tree oil doesn't make the skin feel hot).
