Amy's got the right idea...if you decide to make your own cones out of
flat plastic, try and make a long, thin cone as opposed to a short,
fat cone. There is less chance that the hole will enlarge in the
course of using the cone. I always had trouble with the bottle too,
but then I switched to the cone and I found I couldn't control the
hole size very well until I leaned the short-fat, long-thin
difference. Does this make any sense?

Last night I sifted Castle Arts henna once through a control top and
not a single clog happened while I was working.
