I would suggest Loretta Roome's book Mehndi: The Timeless ARt of
Henna Painting or Sumita Batra's book The ARt of Mehndi, or Henna
from Head to Toe, illustrated by the discussion board's very own
Catherine Cartwright Jones. Carine Fabius's book is also supposed to
be good. If you can get to some good libraries, look for Menhadi
Rang Rachi by Mahendra Bhanawat, or this book called "Henna and Floor
Decorations" -- they are oldies but goodies. You can check out
mehndi books at my web page if you want to order them through
Amazon.com. I"m not sure if I have Batra's book listed but it is on
the web site.
