Do you live in a medium-large to large city with a diverse population?
If so, there may be ethnic Indian or arabic stores selling wonderful
and exotic things, like cheap henna for the hair and skin. Health
food stores also carry henna for the hair in a variety of colors (more
expensive than $2.00, though). You could try contacting Frontier
Herbs for mail order (they sell hair henna among many other things.)
