I pulled this off another sight and just wanted to add it to the pool
of knowledg. It was originally posted by
Jeannie(jdwjme@webcruzers.com) at Botanical.com I wont relay all of it
but this is what cought my attention. "A friend of mine from India
says that in her country the darkening past added to henna paste in
India includes a mineral knowen as "Bkack Lime", also knowen as
"Kattha." She stressed to NEVER EVER try to use White Lim, knowen
as"Chuna." This will result in serious skin damage." I have not tried
this. I'm not sure where to get Black Lime and I'm not sure I want to
add anything toxic to our past. But I just thought I'ed pass the info
on.
