I think you're hosed....henna will bind readilly with wool and
silk...and apparently whatever it is in your carpet. The dye bond is
extremely stable, and I doubt if your carpet exfoliates. If henna
dyes it, bleach is apt to arm it. Cold scrubbing might help. Hot or
steam scrubing will probably set the stain.
If you were useing "colored henna" you may be hosed worse. If you try
to wet scrub, the stain will spread.
