I wanted to experiment with the facial mask idea but I already had henna on my hand, so I extended the design up my wrist and applied the mask. When it was not yet completely dry, I used a Kleenex to wipe off mask that had dripped down over the earlier design. The design had been applied only a couple of days ago and was very dark. Where the mask had dripped on the back of my hand the henna came completely off. On the palm of my hand the mask only faded the design.

Might be handy to know if you want to remove your henna for some reason, otherwise be careful if using it around an existing pattern. (The mask did seem to work well as a fixative on the new part.)

I love this forum, I've learned so much--thank you all!!
