I'm an Ulster woman who makes silver wire jewellery, loosely celtic ribbon/knot work in origin (it amazing the dooddles that you come up with on the phone!!).

I discovered Henna Last summer, and used some of the the jewellery designs as patterns, drawing the designs on with pen and tracing over them with the Henna paste.

Further thought (of making money)got me thinking, and i've now made templates of the most success full designs by using the plastic from milk containers.
These templates could be traced round by the any one then some one else (an bit more skilled)would pipe over the patterns with out having to spend time thinking about the interweaving of the pattern.
I know it sounds like a bit of a producion line but think of the nuber of people at festivals and the added complexity you could give designs.

Hope this suggestion sparks further idea's
Take Care
Lorna
