I used that previous crop of henna all summer, and a group of us did
full-body henna on a bride with it at Sirius Rising. The patterns
where the henna was laid on heavilly darkened to a rich cigar wrapper
color by the 4th day after hennaeing. That henna will do you
fine....try the recipe at the link below, and lean hard on heavy
apps of henna, hot packs and wraps to get good innerbody colors.

I'm working on a sheet of Maori patterns adapted for henna...that will
do nicely for innerbody work....let me know if that would help! I've
got another sheet of bold pieces from the 2nd or so millenium BC that
do up nicely.
