I find multiple coats of henna are helpful. One coat on me just make them a really light, unattractive yellow/orange. About 3 coats really did the trick. Once a coat sets on you nails it doesn't disloge all that easily. After about an hour drying put it in an old sock and ignore it Use honey in your mix. It keeps the henna from completely drying and gives it a very useful stickiness as it dries. I usually have to scrub it of with a nail brush by morning. I have also done it in daylight hours and put shoes on over it with only slight smudging. Shanon : When I hennaed my tonails, it looked like I had toenail fungus. Did : anyone else get this type of result? When I (accidentally :) hennaed : my finger nails it looked very nice, though. Thats why I tried the : toe nails.
