If Kathy would have asked for patterns, she would have gotten them. But to lie to get them is not Kosher with me. These were not mere designs that were published in any book. These were mine and she put them off as being her own (although her pictures are identical with my designs). Where are the ethics? I didn't say she was a bad artist, I just said that I can't give credit to her for her deception. I have had numerous gigs in Milwaukee now (a 1 1/2 hr. drive one way for me), if she hadn't done what she did to me, I would have asked her to either be part of it, or would have asked her if she wanted to do them.
Instead of Henna-Artists getting along and possibly working together and try to do the best FOR this artform, it brought out the worst in this case. Flattery is one thing, lying to get something is another.
That's just my opinion and since I'm not the only one that this happened to by Kathy's non-ethical ways of artistry, I'm glad I'm not the only one standing here trying to explain, why I'm not very fond of finding her beautiful site with "Stolen" designs.
