A friend of mine is just starting to do Henna for people and since she doesn't have a computer, she's been asking me questions that I'm getting answers on the internet. She asked what is up with black henna, since she can get some of her batches to get the skin a very dark-brown nearly black. I explained to her that using natural henna to achieve this is great but what people are meaning by "black henna" is the henna that has paint and chemicals added that is causing all the reactions. I actually got a "free sample" of "Black Henna" with a kit and since I have sensitive skin and they don't have the ingredients on the package, I'm not trying it. It may be safe for some people, but I'm not risking it. Autumn
