There's a place in West Hartford - Little India, I beleive - which
does mehndi. They ususally advertise on the back page of the
Advocate. I don't have their phone number right now, but it's
probably in the phone book.
My friend Whitney sometimes runs henna workshops - she provides the
henna and some background information and let's you experiment on
your own. If you're not overly artistic, she can do a design for

And you might want to check out any fairs or festivals going on in
your area - I understand that henna artist have been popping up there
this year.
