I think that's really cool!!!!! I would have loved that.

Some suggestions on things NOT to do.
1) Don't try and guess the mom to be's circumference or weight;
it's tacky.

2) Avoid stupid shower games. We're adults. We don't need to see how
many cottonballs we can scoop out of a bowl on our heads and put into
a plate on our laps. (I've played this one. :^P )

If you must play games have everyone bring a baby picture of
themselves and then have the guests try and guess who is who.

Have a book for the guests to include baby tips for the new mom.
Things like what they did for colic or teething, etc.

Have a book for well wishes for the baby/ies. Things like may you
inheret you mother's sense of style or your father's sense of humour.
That sort of thing.

Baby pools trying to guess date of arrival are also fun.

Just some suggestions from someone celebrating surviving her first 6
months of motherhood!
