just Henna, not in a kit. Once I got a kit, I didn't want to
purchase a kit each time to get more henna.
You are right about henna having a shelf-life. I had a friend do my
Right hand (since I'm right handed) and the henna she purchased
didn't stain my skin. It is a very very light yellow orange in the
palm and that's it. I see it because I know what she did, but no one
else would notice it. And I let it sit at least 4 hours, so it
definitely has a shelf-life.
