The salon I work for here who recruited me from a festival we were
doing. When I came to the salon and did some free work on the people
that worked there, they really loved my work. We decided on 75/25 and
I think it's worth it and fair and worth it to both the salon and to
myself.
I work hard when I have appointments there. I have to supply all my
own henna and materials....all the books I purchase, all my designs
that I have accumulated....that is all worth money by the way.
P.S. I just recently did a festival in Milwaukee where the split was
50/50. In 3 days I made $1400.00 and then had to give $700 to the
festival. That sucked!
