Catherine, let me get this straight.
Let's say I pay $150 for a booth fee to get into a festival.
You are saying if I don't make at least 1500.00 then I shouldn't go
back? Frank (my boyfriend and fellow henna artist) and myself set up
at a fest here in Minneapolis (attendance 100,000 +). It was a 1 day
festival and we came to find out after the fact that there was 5 other
booths also offering either henna exclusively or part of a booth with
jewelry and such.
In 10 hours we made about $800. So, minus the $150 entrance that's a
$650 profit, not bad for a day. I didn't consider that a failure
money-wise.
What do you think?
We shouldn't do it again?
