: : You could always try your local Hot Topic - they usually have
small
: : henna kits/premixed henna somewhere about.

: Walgreen's sells (in at least 2 states) a tubular kit labeled
: "mehndi". Read below - there's NOTHING to compare to good quality
: henna - but this is a quick way to get started, and it's at least
good
: enough to leave a stain. Has everything but water. There are also
: kits in book-like packages, available at some bookstores (Crown, in
: one case). I don't know if these are satisfactory or not -- they
list
: an oil that's questionable. (If you get that kit, consider not
using
: the oil. It's not necessary.) Beware, though - you could get
hooked!

Commercial plug alert - avert your eyes if you are sensitive. I sell
henna at my website listed below. It is Moroccan henna and I have
been very pleased with the darkness of the designs I get from it, how
long it lasts, and best of all, how finely it is sifted. I never
sift this henna, I just mix it with lemon juice in my mortar and
pestle, and get to work...no lumps, no clogs. Email me if you have
ANY questions.
