I have been using Mehndi Mud for several months now and I think it
is wonderful! The consistancy is silky, the color is spectacular, it
has an incredible shelf life (months if you store it air tight in the
fridge) and it smells nice & fresh. Much better than any pre-mixed
paste I have ever seen.( No ickie petroleum smell like in the Rani Cone
or other pre-mixes from the East. P.U.!)
It does seem pricey until I remember how much work it is and how
time consuming it is to do the sifting & mixing! Oy, I am glad to be
done with all that! And good quality henna powder isn't cheap either,
so the Mehndi Mud is worth what they are charging I think.
I have had the pleasure to meet Matt, the guy who makes the stuff
and he is pretty darn nice too. (Hey Matt, do I get a discount now for
such a ringing endorsement?!)
