Here's the report on my latest henna adventure!

I have a bride coming to get her hands done this weekend and was
afraid to use that much New Skin on someone, so I thought I'd better
try the peel-off mask mordant.

I unthawed my killer batch of henna in the microwave for a minute and
a half on defrost. It was barely warm, but thawed and as gorgeous as
when I mixed it up over 2 weeks ago. I mixed up a concoction of
approximately 1/2 Freeman's Cucumber & Ginseng, 1/2 lemon-sugar, 2
small drops of clove oil. After the henna dried, I painted on 2
fairly thin coats of the mask mixture (drying between applications).
I added a very thin coat of nearly straight mask on top as the
mixture was very sticky (must have used too much sugar or the
humidity went way up). When it was dry and not nearly as sticky, I
put gauze over the designs and went to bed. One design was in my
palm and the other was on the inside of my husband's wrist. My mask
came off with the gauze and the design (including solid area, open
areas, fine lines and tiny dots) was pristine, creases and all! My
husband's mask dried to his skin and it looked like the part that was
near a crease might have gotten messed up. However, although the
mask was pretty disrupted, the henna wasn't. He oiled and scraped as
usual and it's great! The designs are very deep sienna this morning
and should get even darker. Fabulous!!!
