I think your henna was so old it had rolled over and died of terminal
staleness. Henna needs to be fresh to stain well .... which is the
major downfall of the kits. You have no idea, when you get the kit,
how long its been since the henna inside last saw its mommy plant.
Try henna again with the instructions at the link below, and henna
from www.castleart.com . All the pictures in the gallery there are
with that henna and those instructions ...so it definitely works!
