Okra texture from fenugreek (CCJ -alert)

I tried adding fenugreek seeds to my boiling liquid and got a texture
similar to what I'd expect from okra (but without having to think
about dealing with actual okra). Smelled wonderful, and the texture
was interesting - but I didn't try pulling it to make fine lines, as
Roome describes. Looks like it would work.

I don't think I'm prepared to drape strands on two fingers and pull
them thin before laying them down, but I think I can get the same
effect by putting on a line and pulling thin lines from the tip of my
applicator. (Catherine - how are you getting fine lines? Just
squeezing them out that way, or are you pulling or manipulating them
somehow?)
