One of the best hennaes that I ever did was with my left hand on my
right ( I'm right handed to the point of uselessness with the left).

I propped one arm on each knee, and held the cone in my left, and
moved my right hand under the henna cone. I worked very slowly, and
did tiny lines (that seemed to help lots!) and that really worked!

It was sort of like moving cloth around in a frame at a sewing machine
to do embroidery work (the needle is in a fixed position , you move
the cloth around to make the pattern).
