Recently a friend who had never been willing to draw, went ahead and
drew in one of my classes. It was fine! Looked great! I asked her
why it had taken 9 yearsfor her to pick up a brush. She said she
thought people who couldn't draw well shouldn't draw. I said, do
people who have an untrained or poor voice never sing for joy?

Would children ever get to sleep if only mommies who sing beautifully
were allowed to sing lullabies?

Draw, draw, draw! It gets better with practice, and no one minds if
you're merely sincere and enthusiatic, not expert....just like singing
and having sex.
