Thank god the rancid grapefruit peal scent doesn't last. My hennaed
hand now just smells like henna. I never did sniff my shins. (My
joints don't bend thataway.) When I get the camphor oil, I'll see if
that is different. The oxidation is very interesting. The darkening
ended up being comparable to 2 hours with a heating pad on high. The
point is, it's really important to try things, if only to have that
information in reserve when you need it. I think camphor may be
extremely helpful in some circumstances (a back, for instance) because
of its ability to penetrate and oxidize. Other times...there are
better things to do.
Back to : there is NO ONE WAY to do henna. Learn 'em all. Use what's
most appropriate in the circumstance.
