Right...that's removing the djinn infestations that would have come
along at her menstruation. A very young girl is considered very pure,
and can walk in front of her father , but after puberty, the girl
will be potentially dangerous from "evil eye" brought on by djinn,
attracted to the blood.

while in Morocco, pregnant women have their
: ankles decorated at seven months for a 'safe pregnancy'.
Djinn travel underground...ankles would be a very sensible place to
put a djinn barrier.
