When I work inside a business or out on the mall, when all I get are
walk ups, I charge $3 and up. If some one meets me there for an
appointment, or I go to their house, I charge $35 an hour, not
including travel fees. For roughly every 20 minutes I have to drive,
I add $5 travel fee.

People in my area (Boulder, Colorado) have exclaimed how reasonable &
inexpensive my prices are. I've heard this SO often I'm rasing my
prices at the end of the year to $40 per hour. The walk up prices
will probably also go up about 10%, too.

There are only 4 other people in this whole state that are doing
henna as a business, though, so I can justify the rate increase
because of the high demand.

The other artists' fees range from $25 an hour in the less affluent
areas to $50 minimum for the traditional Indian lady who works in
Denver. In ALL the other cases, the customer must go to the artists'
location. As far as I know, I'm the only "mobile Mehndi service", so
that costs.

Anyway, hope this helps.
Carrie
