You should apply the color at least for three hours. I apply always in
the evening one hour before I go to bed. Once they are little dry I
cover them in the shower cap and a old towel on my pillow and sleep
with it. I rinse it off in the morning.
Basically, henna color doesn't dye your hair in one application very
well. Try at least three times once in a week. In one month you will
get the final color and then you decide whether you got any stain or
not.
