henna usages

I'm interested in finding out if Henna can be used near the eyes as a
semi-permanent eyeliner? This method seems far cheaper than the $300-
$400 permanent eyeliner tatoo and easier to change should one not
like the results. Any information would be greatly appreciated. I'd
also like to find out if any shops in Indiana sale Henna and about
how much it runs. I've found some websites, but mainly out of
California.
