Where do you get good cocoa butter? I bought some (rather pricey!)
cocoa butter-and-something at a health food store which turned out to
be a slimy semi-liquid with LUMPS of cocoa butter in it. Also, the
lumps of cocoa butter were dry and crumbly, is it supposed to be that
way?
I'm afraid I panicked when this stuff didn't take the new skin off
immediately, and used nail polish remover, which did. I thought I'd
ruined the color, but it wasn't TOO bad. Not as good as I have
gotten, though.

: You get New Skin off your skin the same way you get chewing gum out
of
: your hair. Oil. Cocoa butter is my favorite. I rinse my hands
when
: I unwrap and that loosens everything up. Then I oil and rub 3 or 4
: times through the morning. That takes it all off. If you do latex
: over New Skin, pulling off the latex pulls off the NS.

: Don't get impatient and rub and scrub! NS will come off in a day
even
: if you ignore it and just let it flake off with the flexing of your
: skin. One day's annoyance with New Skin, is, to me, worth being
sure
: that delicate complex patterns will NOT smear, and will be very
dark
: and absolutely pristine.

: NS is not the answer for every henna situation. It does, however,
: provide an excellent solution to several problems. It's best for
: situations where speed and accuracy are crucial, and outdoor
hennaeing
: where lemon-sugar would draw bees.
