Sirius Rising is a Brushwood event, but "international henna
symposium" began as a personal invitation we extended to Jeremy
Rowntree and crew, and it sort of grew wonderfully. If it can happen
somewhere else in a similar way, that just spreads the joy around in
wider circles (and what could possibly be bad about that?)
BTW... The shopping at Sirius is very good! Lots of vendors with
ethinic imports and vaguely pagan or SCAdian artistry and handcrafts.
I hear the handcrafted dumbeks and jimbes are outstanding.
BTW again...if you are serious about Sirius drumming and dancing
around a bonfire every night, take naps! The drumming and dancing
start really rocking about 2 AM every night!
