I think my next tries will be with something resinous that might have a lower melt temp....like amber (the perfummy stuff from import stores) or maybe even a little pine sap mixed with the myrrh. I don't think basic harquus can be very difficult, because it has to be within the range of possibility for a woman with a campfire, and some handy rocks, sap, soot and fat. That first batch....I tried washing my harquus with soap and water. and it's still there! The mix that was just frankincense, soot and charred henna with a little perfume oil were really tenacious! Great for a cosmetic that you have to dance and party hard in! The spoon is in the trash.....
