I don't know about cookie dough...seems too thick. It depends on
your design, what size tip you are using. If i am filling in a lot
of solid areas and using a wide tip, the paste can be a little thin
so it spreads out more easily. I usually draw an outline, let that
dry a little and then fill it in. Fine lines can use a thinner paste
so they flow more easily, but the lines may be too light to lie down
on the skin.
Loretta Roome suggests getting your paste to the consistency of hot
fudge (real hot fudge, not like Hershey's syrup). That seems a little
thin to me, but you have to experiment to find a consistency that
works for you and your design.
