: Henna on eggs: keep the paste dry, do only one end or side of the egg When I first read this, I pictured a plate of fried eggs with delicate designs drawn on them! yum! I now see that you are talking about eggs as in egg shells. One thing about decorating eggshells, they can be used as xmas tree decorations if you hollow them out. To do this you poke a small hole at one end (the sharp end of the egg), and a larger hole (about 1/2 cm diam.) at the other end. And then blow through the smaller hole until all the egg comes out the bottom hole. These hollow eggs can then be hennaed and because they are hollow they will allow some light to shine through. I remember making these as a child, but we painted them with regular paint, not henna.
